Year 8 - 11 Bursaries
The Year 8-11 Performing Arts, Sport and All-rounder Bursaries are available for new students entering Years 8-11 in 2025 or 2026 who have excelled in their area but whose financial situations have prevented them from attending Rosebank College.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to the college for an interview, during which they will meet with our Principal and members of the bursaries committee to discuss their achievements, ambitions and aspirations for contributing to Rosebank’s community.

Bursary Criteria
Applicants must meet all criteria and complete a comprehensive application process, including confirming that they will meet the College Enrolment Guidelines and expectations.
- Strong commitment to the Benedictine Good Samaritan spirituality
- Willingness to contribute to the life of the College and its broader community
- Financial need: The applicant's Household Taxable Income for the financial year ending 30 June 2024 must be less than $140,000. Evidence of financial need may be requested
- Evidence of excellence in performing arts, sports or all-round achievement
- Australian permanent residents and citizens only
- Non-Rosebank students and do not have any siblings that attend the College

Who can apply for these bursaries?
New students who are not currently enrolled at Rosebank College and who satisfy the bursary criteria may apply.

Can I still apply for this scholarship if my child is enrolled at Rosebank?
No, this is for new students only with no siblings at the College.
Can I still apply for this scholarship if my child has a sibling enrolled at Rosebank?
No, this is only for new families at Rosebank College.
What kind of bursaries are available?
This bursary program provides up to 100% discount on tuition, school fees, school resources levy and building levy.
How many bursaries do you offer?
The number of bursaries provided will vary from year to year and depend on the availability of places in the relevant year group.
How do you assess the applications?
Rosebank’s Bursaries committee review all applications and make decisions based on the merit of each applicant.
When will we find out the results?
Successful families will be contacted for an interview, and unsuccessful applicants will be informed via email.
