Principal’s Message
Welcome to Rosebank
As Principal of Rosebank, I relish the incredible privilege that it is to lead this great College. I am a firm believer in Catholic education and strongly advocate that boys and girls should learn with each other, about each other, while respecting each other.
Founded by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan over 150 years ago, Rosebank has developed into a place of heart, innovation and excellence.
We aspire to maximise the potential of each and every student, offering an extensive curriculum in a highly supportive environment with strong accountability. We are dedicated to supporting students to achieve academic excellence. Strategies are designed to be inclusive, flexible and promote academic rigour and accessibility.
Our vision for your children
Our vision is for our students - your children - to graduate knowing who they are, what possibilities lay before them, and how they can make a difference.
Our deep spiritual tradition combined with an emphasis on contemporary pedagogy ensures a vibrant learning community where students are valued and can pursue their extensive gifts and interests in a caring environment.
Our dream for your children is that they:
- Are spiritually aware within the Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition
- Pursue their personal best and are committed to excellence
- Have respect for self, others and their environment
- Demonstrate leadership
- Exercise social and ethical responsibility
- Value and contribute to their community
- Are discerning and innovative thinkers
We can’t wait to meet you
We are proud of the authentic and dynamic experiences we are creating for today’s young Rosebank women and men, ensuring they are equipped to graduate as accomplished lifelong learners with integrity and purpose.
I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you and your family into our community and to watch your child develop and thrive through the nurturing, challenging, happy environment we provide here at Rosebank.
